In this National park you will see 4 different kinds of animals. Which will include; mammals, Reptiles, Birds, and Plants.
Mammals
There are large & small carnivores and large & small herbivores in this National park and Ecozone. Large & small carnivores include: Black bear, Lynx, Wolf, Red fox, marten, and Ermine. Large & small herbivores include: Woodland Caribou, Wood Bison, Moose, Barren-ground Caribou, Snowshow Hare, Red Squirrel and Arctic Ground Squirrel.
Reptiles
Taiga Plains is far too into the North for reptiles, but Striped Chorus Frog, Western Toad and Wood Frog could be found here. Also, some fish like, Arctic Cisco, Longnose Sucker, Walleye, Lake Whitefish, Northern pike, and Arctic Grayling are to be found in the Taiga Plains.
Birds
Birds that migrate to the Taiga Plains in spring and summer include: The Red-Throated Loon, Ring-Necked Duck, Greater Scaup, Canvasback, and other ducks, geese and swans. Sharp-Tailed Grouse and Willow Ptarmigan are some ground dwelling birds, while some common birds of the Taiga forest include the Raven, Gray Jay, Boreal Chickadee, Common Raven, and Common Redpoll.
Plants
The Paper Birch, Fire Snag, Willow, Wild Rose, Trembling, Aspen, Tamarack, Green Alder, White Spruce, Jack Pine, Balsam Poplar and Arboreal Lichens are most of the plants that grow in Taiga Plains.
